Headland are pleased to release information on the latest range of “JET” robots from Kuka, which allow a single robot to service multiple machines while taking up very little floor space. The KR 30 JET and KR 60 JET have a reputation of being fast work space extenders.

When you open up more space for more productivity you make more money. The KUKA JET gantry robots are the ideal combination of linear unit and jointed-arm robot. This synthesis gives you two decisive advantages such as benefiting from maximum reach and an enormous work envelope, and secondly, you have an extremely fast robot system with a traversing velocity of up to 3.2 meters per second.

The JET robots can be installed in both the inverted and side-mounted positions.

To maximise your potential, the gantry design saves valuable shop floor space, allowing several machines to be tended simultaneously from above. is tailored to your individual requirements in steps.

Large distances of up to 20 m can be bridged without difficulty.

The KR 30 JET, and the KR 60 JET are available with two different arm extensions, further increasing the reach and radius of action.

For use in harsh environments, the Foundry (F) variant is also available for every JET robot – perfectly equipping it for removing parts from die casting and injection moulding machines.
